THE COMPANY

The Dream Engine was created back in 1995 to dream up the extraordinary and bring it to life. The following are still true:

• Ideas which combine Science and Art to explore new possibilities.

• Inventing unique installations to offer performers new challenges to create magic.

• Air and gas filled fabric as a theme so big structures can pack up small and tour easily.

• Low profit margins so we can increase the number of shows we can do and therefore accelerate development.

• A “family” of regular performers and technicians where we rotate the work with equal pay. Underlining cooperation and skill sharing as core values.

Our shows have a number of threads running through them:

Height
Audiences looking up already have the expectation of wondrous things, and in a crowd they can see them.

Music
The combination of sight and sound creates a sum larger than the two parts.
